This one day workshop is suitable for all abilities aged 16+. Maximum number of participants 6.
The focus of the workshop is the reduction lino print process. Participants will therefore be using ready-made, small scale cloud templates and working with a limited colour palette.
(There is an option for a second day where participants can work on their own cloudscape design.)

During the workshop participants will learn how to:

• transfer a design to the lino block
• register their prints using the Ternes Burton registration system
• cut away the block using lino gouges
• apply ink to the block
• transfer the image to paper using hand burnishing tools
