Lindisfarne castle in Northumberland, sits silhouetted against the evening sky as a flock of starlings swoop homeward across a meadow. The perfect end to a day spent walking from the mainland across the mud and sand whilst dunlin foraged for food around my feet and seals called from the strandline.
